We have an immediate opening (FT/PT) for a Production / Installer position at SignMySigns.


Able to operate sign making equipment: Vinyl Cutters, Large Format Latex Printers and Laminators

  • Must know how to do weeding/taping/masking/laminating and mounting prints to different substrates
  • Must be comfortable working with simple hand tools
  • Dig using Augar and install signs
  • Experience using Panel & Table Saw
  • Experience using scissor lift


Install vinyl graphics on windows, vehicles, wall and other substrates

  • Vehicle Wraps & Decals
  • Experience with installing dimensional letters for interior and exterior signage. Must be able to work with templates, drilling and ladders
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.


Self starter

  • Be a Team Player
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to produce signage on time following work order instructions and meet deadlines
  • Reliable Transportation with VALID CA Driver's License/Insurance and Clean Driving Records

*Experience with vehicle wrap design and installation will be plus

We are looking for a graphic designer who has prior experience in signage and printing industry. We are not looking for website designers or developers. If you do not have any experience in signage or printing industry, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. We have an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time graphics designer who is driven, able to multi task, and has a great attitude and strong work ethic. Self-starter is a MUST! Car Wrap design experience is a plus!

Job Description:

  • Position requires reviewing incoming artwork and creating design layouts and proofs for signs and printing.
  • Answer incoming phone calls from clients and prospects.
  • Help walk-in customers' with their questions and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Write up estimates, invoices and work orders.Take payments and write up sales orders.
  • Filing paperwork (invoices, work orders, design layouts etc.) as needed.Will assist in other sign production duties if needed.
  • Training will be provided.

Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer in the signage and printing industry.
  • Candidate MUST have firm knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience in Flexisign is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Pantone and Spot colors and color profiles is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook

Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrate a professional image at the work place.
  • Good, above average language skills (spelling/grammar; written/verbal communication)
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are critical.
  • Ability to interface with customers on phone and in person is a MUST.
  • Assist in operating and managing the showroom when needed.
  • Must have vehicle with valid driver's license, good DMV records and proof of insurance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Retain and acquire new and existing clients located mostly in California
  • Develop accurate and dependable sales forecasts
  • Set, meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions per company standards
  • Work across a multifunctional team of project managers and manufacturing leads to deliver on-time and quality products
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Software, Cyrious Software and creating mockups for presentation with Estimates to Customers.
  • Experience with HP Latex Printers and Onyx Software.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the commercial signage industry (preferred)
  • Possess working knowledge of regional and local signage ordinances
  • Ability to work with a high level of integrity and with limited oversight
  • Possess conflict resolution skills that require confronting, investigating, and resolving difficult situations
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills*
